Hybrid in Georgetown, TX | Part time · Full time | W2 employee
Associate-level therapist role on a trauma recovery team in Georgetown, TX. Supervision included, paid EMDR training after 6 months of employment, 50% pay split, and a hybrid in-person and telehealth schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry a caseload of 15 to start (full time or 25 weekly client caseload considered when caseload stabilizes).
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Correspond with clients and coordinate with other care providers.
- Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation.
- Complete documentation within 48 hours of sessions.
- Manage calendar availability and assist clients with scheduling.
- Provide individual, group, couples, adolescent or family counseling interventions.
- Conduct assessments, diagnoses, treat, treatment planning, and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough client records and clinical documentation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Understanding of relevant statutes, ethical codes, and regulations for professional counseling.
- Proficiency in various counseling theories and techniques.
- Knowledge of mental health issues, trauma, and trauma-informed treatment.
- Familiarity with the DSM-5-TR for formulating treatment goals and interventions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in using computers and related software applications.
- Skilled in client assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and implementation.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and the public.
- Sensitivity to diversity and cultural differences.
- Ability to independently resolve complex issues using sound judgment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Temporary, provisional, or associate licensure in Texas as an LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC-A.
Compensation
- 50% pay split.
- This is a W2 employee position, not a 1099 contract role.
- EMDR training paid for after 6 months of employment.
- Once caseload stabilizes, full time caseload of 25 comes with paid time off, including vacation, personal leave, sick leave, and holidays.
- Supervision included.
- All practice-sponsored CEU programs, trainings, and cohorts are included at no cost.
- We do all your marketing and take care of insurance paneling.
