About Us

We are a trauma recovery group practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and groups heal from trauma and achieve personal growth. Our clients represent all walks of life, lifestyles and neurotypes presenting with concerns around addiction, rumination and anxiety, dissociative disorders, depression, life transition exploration and eating disorders. Our team creates a supportive environment for both clients and staff in order to foster a collegial environment of professionals working to support our clients.

We take an active role in Williamson County to support marginalized and oppressed populations to further social justice efforts within the communities we represent and are a part of. We are seeking employees with training and lived experience with the populations we serve including members of the LGBTQIA+ community, various mental health diagnoses and neurotypes, all races and ethnicities, and recovery status.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards and HIPAA regulations.
  • Correspond with clients and coordinate with other care providers.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation.
  • Complete documentation within 48 hours of sessions.
  • Manage calendar availability and assist clients with scheduling.
  • Provide individual, group, couples, adolescent or family counseling interventions.
  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, treat, treatment planning, and follow-up.
  • Assist clients with payment arrangements when there is an issue with the card on file.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough client records and clinical documentation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of relevant statutes, ethical codes, and regulations for professional counseling.
  • Proficiency in various counseling theories and techniques.
  • Knowledge of mental health issues, trauma, and trauma-informed treatment.
  • Familiarity with the DSM-5-TR for formulating treatment goals and interventions.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in using computers and related software applications.
  • Skilled in client assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and implementation.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and the public.
  • Sensitivity to diversity and cultural differences.
  • Ability to independently resolve complex issues using sound judgment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Temporary, provisional, or associate licensure in Texas as an LMSW, LMFT-A, or LPC-A.

Compensation

  • 50% pay split + benefits with fulltime caseload.

Benefits

  • For this role we are seeking someone to specialize in trauma therapy and will be providing paid EMDR training at 6 months of employment.
  • Free supervision for LMSW candidates, supervision stipend for LPC-A, LMFT-A candidates.
  • Health insurance stipend or paid time off, including vacation, personal leave, sick leave, and holidays with a caseload of 28 and expectation of 75% show rate.

  • Full, independent licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, in good standing.
  • Two (2) years of post-licensure clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of an EMDRIA-approved EMDR basic training, EMDRIA certification a plus.
  • Experience treating complex trauma, dissociative disorders, or eating disorders.

  • 60% pay split + benefits with fulltime caseload.
